Tourassist is a unique crowdfunding platform designed to help individuals and aspiring artists raise funds for travel experiences and adventures. Whether it’s an up-and-coming musician seeking support for a tour, a couple raising money for a dream honeymoon, or anyone looking to make their ideal trip a reality, Tourassist connects people with a community of backers who want to make these journeys possible. In addition to funding campaigns, our platform also offers the ability to purchase travel accommodations, making it easier for users to plan and book their trips in one convenient place. With Tourassist, turning your travel dreams into reality has never been more accessible.
Use the map to select your destination or destinations. Then add all details of the trip on the Trip Planner page. It's that easy!
Funds are transferred to your account once the campaign concludes, which is automatically set to end 7 days prior to your designated travel date. This allows you ample time to prepare for your trip and make necessary arrangements. You can request a payout directly to your bank account which is processed through Stripe.
To support a campaign, simply visit the campaign’s page and click the “Donate” button. From there, enter your desired donation amount and payment information to complete your contribution.
All transactions on Tourassist are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted payment platform. Once the campaign concludes, users can request a payout directly to their bank account. Campaigns automatically end 7 days prior to the designated travel date to ensure a smooth transfer of funds and travel preparations.
Creating a campaign on Tourassist is completely free. However, to support the platform's ongoing operations and development, a small fee of 3% is retained from the total funds raised. This amount is not taken from the funds used to purchase travel accommodations. Only the remaining balance that is sent at the end of the campaign.
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. If you have a refund request, please reach out to us, and we will make every effort to address your concerns and provide assistance.

A link to our contact page is located at the bottom of the Account Info Panel in the Main Menu, and our support team will be happy to assist you with any inquiries. Alternatively, you can try the Tour Assistant AI chatbot for immediate assistance and quick responses.
Once you’ve selected a location or multiple locations using the map, you will be directed to the Trip Planner page. There, you can use our Cost Calculator to estimate the total expenses for your trip. This estimated amount will serve as a suggestion for your fundraising goal.
All funds raised will be transferred directly to your account, regardless of whether you meet your goal or not. The goal is simply a target to aim for, but you can continue to collect contributions even after reaching your fundraising goal.
The Campaign Page provides several shareable links that you can use to promote your campaign on social media platforms. Sharing your campaign is a key strategy to increase visibility and attract more supporters. By leveraging platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and Instagram, you can reach a broader audience and connect with people who share your passion for travel. Additionally, emailing your campaign link directly to friends, family, coworkers and other potential backers can have a more personal impact, encouraging them to contribute. Social media offers the opportunity to share updates, engage with followers, and build momentum, making it an essential tool for spreading the word and boosting your campaign’s success.
You may edit the photos and Campaign Description at any time. You may also post updates to keep your backers informed of your progress. However, at this time the Campaign Title, destination, and Travel Dates cannot be changed once the campaign is launched. These are the things that your backers have committed to supporting.
There is no limit to the number of campaigns you can create on Tourassist. You can create as many campaigns as you like, each with its own unique destination, travel dates, and fundraising goal.
Campaign creators must be at least 18 years old. If you do not meet these requirements, please do not start a trip campaign. Instead, consider partnering with someone who does meet these criteria to create a campaign on your behalf.
